Keith Davies, Director of British Council and Nicola Stewart, British Embassy Jakarta, attended a lunch hosted by Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School at Darunnajah School on 2 November 2009. The Lunch was held to welcome two British teachers from The Holy Family Catholic School (HFCS), Keighley, UK.

This year two teachers, Ms. Nicky Hoolbook (Modern Foreign Language/French Teacher) and Ms. Debby Rooney (History Teacher). travelled to Indonesia as part of the Teachers Exchange Program between the two schools, which was established in 2006. The collaboration between Darunnajah and HFCS was initially established following the visit of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair to Indonesia in March 2006. The project was facilitated by British Council.
